Cardinal Building Pickup Coordination - SMS Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Cardinal Building Materials, Inc collects and uses personal information in connection with the Cardinal Building Pickup Coordination SMS program.
What we collect:
- Your mobile phone number
- The content of SMS messages you exchange with our pickup coordinator
- Vehicle information (make, model, color) you provide to help us identify you at pickup
- Order and pickup timing information associated with your purchase
How we use it: We use this information solely to coordinate your material pickup — identifying your vehicle on arrival, confirming your order is ready, communicating logistics, and keeping a record of the pickup for our order history.
Sharing: We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number, message content, or vehicle information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We do not use this information for our own marketing. Information may be shared only with:
- Twilio, our SMS service provider, as necessary to deliver messages
- Cardinal Building employees involved in your order
- Law enforcement or other parties where required by law
Mobile opt-in data: Mobile information collected as part of the SMS opt-in process will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories above still apply.
Retention: Message logs and pickup records are retained with your order history in accordance with our standard business-records retention practices. Phone numbers collected solely for a one-time pickup may be purged after the order is complete.
Your choices: You can stop SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. To request deletion of your information, contact sales@cardinal-building.com.
